On Wednesday, May 24, the Dana Point Historical Society will honor Carlos and Georgelean Olvera (right) for their contributions to our city and its history.  Our Founders Day event will begin at 6 p.m. at Community House, 24642 San Juan Avenue, with a buffet reception followed by our program at 7 p.m.  Master and Mistress of Ceremonies will be Bruce Beal and Elizabeth Bamattre, who will illustrate the Olveras’ long record of support to Dana Point and Orange County.

Anyone who would like to assist with setting up chairs and tables is welcome to arrive at 4:30 p.m.  As always, members are encouraged to bring a favorite bottle of wine or bottles of beer to share with others.
