On Wednesday evening at 6 PM, at the Dana Point Yacht Club on Harbor Island, the Dana Point Historical Society will honor Bruce and Marlene Beal with our Founders Day Award. Bruce and Marlene have been instrumental in advising numerous organizations with achieving nonprofit tax-exempt status and for years have been very involved in researching and documenting local oceanic history and recording the oral histories of local watermen. Both are currently appointed officers of the yacht club. There will be a buffet dinner with a no-host bar followed by the evening’s program. Please be sure to come and congratulate our honorees!
