This two-story Spanish colonial Revival home sits at the top of an above grade triangular lot between Violet Lantern and Robles Drive, at street grade on the Violet Lantern side and above grade on the Robles side. The building is a triplex and each apartment is entered through a doorway located on a separate level of the building. An entrance is under an arched porch with a balcony above on the facade facing the triangle where the streets meet. On the Violet lantern facade is a wood French door, a secondary entry and another balcony. The Robles Drive side features additional entries, a balcony and a three-car garage. The apartments offer architectural appointments such as hardwood floors, wood beam and wood plank ceiling, fireplaces and period tiles. A 300 bottle winde cellar also has a separate entrance with arched brick ceiling and cherry wood and tile appointments. The walls are hand trowelled stucco, the roofs are red clay, barrel tile and the original windows are wood casement. The 1929 Woodruff Historic Home was approved to participate in the California State Mills Act tax abatement program at the October 12, 2009 City Council meeting. The existing home is 2,450 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 3 kitchens, 2 fireplaces, 7 tiled patios and a separate laundry room on a 7,500 square foot lot. The home is currently on the real estate market in Spring, 2010.
