Please join us for the Dana Point Historical Society annual barbeque fundraiser at beautiful Doheny State Beach. DPHS has awarded the $1000 Doris I. Walker Scholarship to Allison Payne from Dana Hills High School, and the $1000 Lucy Chavarrias-Saunderson Scholarship to Capistrano Beach resident Jenay D. Drake from San Clemente High School.
This will be our June program, and will be held on Monday, June 25. The social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. This year’s menu includes everyone’s picnic favorites: barbeque tri-tip, chicken, chili beans, salads and dessert. Beverages are included.
Tickets are $25 with advance purchase or $30 at the door. Tickets for children under 12 are $10.
Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Simply tell the gate guard you are attending the DPHS Scholarship Barbeque and proceed to Picnic Area “A”. The entrance to Doheny Beach is on Dana Point Harbor Drive opposite the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Hotel entrance.
Advance purchase reservations must be received by June 21.
